Heart of Thorns by Katherine Macdonald review
I think this is the first time that I have read a book in another POV.
Even though the story followed the same path and the events were the same, they were different at the same time. Seeing the story unfold through Thorns eyes was enlightening. You see why he made certain choices and how it all affected him.
A beautifully written story as always from Katherine, sometime I've come to expect from all of her work.
Lots of in depth character interaction that is both sweet and realistic. And so much longing that is just perfect for this book.
"𝑀𝑦 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑓𝑙𝑒𝑠ℎ 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑚𝑒, 𝑎 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑔ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑡, 𝑎 𝑔𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑛 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔. 𝑆ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑚𝑒, 𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑚𝑒, 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑚𝑠 𝑚𝑒."
I adored Thorn after reading The Rose and The Thorn, but this book just made me love him more.
“𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎 𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟!”
“𝐿𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑎𝑡 𝑚𝑒!”
“𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢!”
There was so much I loved about this story. So many lines that stuck in my head. So many points where the story gripped me and wouldn't let me put it down. Reading it all from Thorns POV, seeing how he saw what was happening and how it made him feel.
Truly a wonderful story that I would recommend to anyone ❤ UK LINK
